2. Overview

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking that identifies you. We process personal data only (a) to deliver the website, (b) to send release alerts to people who sign up, and (c) to answer emails you send us.

3. Hosting and website delivery

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver it and protect it against attacks, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the browser type and the referring page. These data are not combined with other sources.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; we have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare.

4. Website statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. This service works without cookies and without storing or reading information on your device. It does not create user profiles and does not track you across websites. We see aggregate figures only (e.g. visits per page, country, referrer).
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Release alerts (email)

If you sign up, we use your email address and, if you provide it, your role, to send you emails when a new Private Credit Radar release is published.
- Double opt-in. After signing up you receive an email asking you to confirm. Only after confirmation are you added to the list. We log the time of sign-up and confirmation and the IP address used, to be able to prove your consent.
- Service provider. Sign-up and sending are handled by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). Data are stored in the EU. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Brevo. The sign-up form on this site is loaded from Brevo's servers; your IP address is transmitted to Brevo in the process.
- Link clicks. Our emails record whether links in them are clicked, so that we can see which content is of interest. We do not use tracking pixels to record whether an email is opened.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to [email protected].
- Retention. We keep your data until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, we keep your email address on a blocklist so that you receive no further emails, and we keep the consent log for up to three years to be able to prove that emails were sent lawfully (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

6. Contact by email

Emails to addresses @privatecreditradar.eu are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We process your email and the data it contains to answer your request.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your enquiry relates to a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We delete your message once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Google may process data in the USA. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
